Pico de Gallo

A simple fresh garnish for all sorts of Mexican dishes.

2 chopped ripe tomatoes
1/2 diced red or brown onion
1 or 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
chopped fresh cilantro
salt

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate at least an hour.
