Plenty of people complained about the lack of provisions in the budget to help people buy houses, but the news today that estate agents aren’t licensed in any way came as a surprise to me. It’s shocking and enough to make me sell my house myself with no estate agent involvement should that day ever come.

Surely regulating an industry where such huge sums of money are involved is simply common-sense? Bizarre.
